The services and telematic functions offered by TEXA can be used thanks to the Hardware devices of the TEXA TMD (Telematics Mobile Diagnostics) range that allow collecting and processing data and parameters in detail, by means of satellite tracking (GNSS) and/or reading, directly from the OBD socket, the diagnostic information from the vehicle’s electronic control units.
Other services and functions, such as the authentication of the driver on board the vehicle or the possibility for the driver to send SOS messages and get support from a 24/7 Operations Centre, are available thanks to the installation of accessory devices of the TEXA TMD range.
A peculiarity of TEXA is, in fact, a modular technology with its star point in the Black Box device (the entire system’s intelligence) that is able to carry out the Geolocation, Asset protection (anti-theft alarms), Crash Detection and Crash Management (detection of a crash and the reconstruction of its dynamics) and Driving Behaviour functions on its own.
The combination of the individual accessories with the main Black Box allows broad extensions of the functions and services based on needs that have already been expressed or that are arising.
