The Milanese expert manager replaces Andrea Algeri as head of the TEXA division dedicated to company fleets and remote diagnosis.
Born in Milan in 1962, a graduate in Philosophy with a master in marketing and communication, Roberto Moneda is the new Head of the Telemobility Business Unit in TEXA. The manager boasts a successful carrier started by taking over senior roles in Sony (business unit sales & strategy manager) and Pioneer (general sales manager). In 2011 he entered the automotive industry as sales director in Cobra, a company after acquired by Vodafone, developing important competence in the telematics industry that brought him in 2020 to take office as corporate fleet Europe sales director in Targa Telematics. Moneda replaces Andrea Algeri who, after successfully guiding the TEXA telemobility business unit for over nine years, has decided to end his working experience.
Roberto Moneda: “I am joining TEXA with great enthusiasm and the desire to put myself back into the game. I am happy to put my experience at the service of this beautiful company to continue taking advantage of the great opportunities offered by a continuously evolving industry.”
Andrea Algeri: “After a long carrier in the world of fleets and after this last extraordinary experience in TEXA, rich in great satisfactions, it is time for a new standard of living. I am retiring so I can reclaim my personal, family and local spaces that I have had to sacrifice some way during my professional career.”
Bruno Vianello, President of TEXA: “I thank Andrea who during these years has contributed to the growth of TEXA Telemobility. I welcome Roberto Moneda, a manager with great experience who I am sure will know how to guide us towards further major results.”
